- Greg writes: my day job is as VP of Product Security for QUALCOMM Incorporated in San Diego, CA, USA. I have been a user and developer of cryptographic software for a long time, am well connected in the PGP web of trust (organized many key-signing BOFs and parties), and have been a CAcert assurer since soon after the group got going. I have a lot of experience with running organizations, both for-profit and volunteer. I founded two companies (one of which survived), was on the board of directors of another, and have been on the boards of not-for-profit organizations: the Australian Unix Users Group (founding secretary and later president), USENIX (vice president), SAGE-AU (founding treasurer), the Inner City Montessori Association (treasurer), International Association of Cryptologic Research (general chair of Crypto 2003), and chaired the Leadership committee of the League of Professional System Administrators.
- I am hoping that my skills in this area, and knowledge of CAcert and its goals, will allow me to help guide CAcert to world domination... or at least to become stable and grow to serve the community.
