[Q] My ISP blocks port 25, how can I still get a server certificate for my website on my home internet connection?
- [A] There are a number of solutions, some involve a small cost.
- You need to point your MX record to a friend's server and have them receive the email.
- Check with your domain registrar and see if they have mail forwarding.
If not, you can use the free Mail Forwards service from ZoneEdit.com to forward email to the domain to another email address.
Alternatively you can purchase DNS services from MyDnsDirect.com and they will collect all your emails and then forward them to your home computer on a different port.
