The Dispute Resolution Officer is responsible for all tasks to do with the independent resolution of disputes within the ArbitrationForum arising out of CAcert activity.
Some tasks:
As "Chief Arbitrator",
manage the list of Arbitrators
- (Selection of an Arbitrator from the list is delegated to Case Manager).
- coordinate the Forum
- supervise the work of Case Managers
Manage the Dispute Resolution Policy.
- Now in POLICY status.
Provide guidance on the policy at DisputeResolution and ArbitrationForum.
- Lead changes through the policy group.
- Liason:
training of Users with EducationOfficer
- Support on filing of disputes
- Feedback to policy group on impact of rulings and suggested changes
- Provide to Board information on the Forum.
