To Assurance - To Assurance Procedures
VIP Assurance
CAcert wants to get VIP´s (security specialists, important OpenSource projects, important companies, other free services, ...) assured.
If you are an Assurer, and you are being asked to do a VIP assurance near you, please try to do the following:
- Contact the VIP
- Ask about a preferred meeting place/time and organise the meeting
- Keep the VIP-Organizer (who contacted you) up to date about the status, whether you will be able to assure the VIP person or not.
- Meet the VIP
- Assure the VIP
- Try to make it cost-free for the VIP, but still do a high-quality verification!
- Inform the VIP-Organizer about the successful assurance
