New email address mask proposal to use in Delete Account Procedure for Support-Engineers has now been discussed within Arbitration Group between several Arbitrators (topic araised based on arbitration case a20090510.3), Software-Assessment Project team, Infrastructure t/l
Intermediate Ruling
Part I
New email address mask proposal aYYYYMMDD.###.### to use in Delete Account Procedure for Support-Engineers has now been discussed within Arbitration Group between several Arbitrators (topic araised based on arbitration case a20090510.3), Software-Assessment Project team in last Software-Assessment Project Team meeting 2011-05-03 and Infrastructure t/l on behalf of email admins.
- It has been shown, that the proposed email address mask solves problems in arbitration cases, where several email addresses needs to be deleted in one arbitration case and current email address mask arbitration_aYYYYMMDD.#@c.o conflicts starting the 2nd email address to delete.
- The proposed email address mask should also be used by default, that
- the default procedure can be simplyfied
- the email address mask for email catchup can be simplyfied
- arbitration ruling can be simplified to use the default procedure
- The email address mask is used once at the moment the new email address will be added by a Support-Engineer, to receive the email account confirmation that is catched up by the given email address mask on the MTA to send these emails to the Support inbox
- The proposed new email address mask should also reflect other email address creation purposes thru arbitration orders (eg administrative account deletion, where the user does not respond on sending in CAP forms) to signal the assurance can no longer be verified by a CAP form by replacing the a-number with another char eg D like in dYYYYMMDD.#.#@..
- So I hereby set this proposed email address mask for Delete Account Procedure for Support-Engineers active, to be referenced first to Delete Account Procedure for Support-Engineers v3 to the form: xYYYYMMDD.###.###@c.o
- Email Admins or Infrastructure t/l should update the email address mask used in the email catchup filter.
- Email Admins or Infrastructure t/l should report to Arbitrator that the email address mask was updated
- Arbitrator to update the Delete Account Procedure for Support-Engineers documentation
- Support Engineers should execute Intermediate Ruling exec step with Part II of this intermediate ruling
Arbitrator should inform Arbitrator of running case a20090510.3 about this ruling
Arbitrator should inform Arbitrator of running case a20110221.1 about this ruling
Part II
- I hereby order, that Support should hijack the users account
- Please make a snapshot printout (to pdf) of the complete users account
- Report to (A) if certs exists on user account: client certs, server certs, GPG/PGP keys
Execute the Delete my Account for SE's procedure v3, especialy
replace email address with new email address mask a20110502.1.1@c.o
- revoke all certificates and report to arbitrator the latest expire date if any
- anonymize all user identifiable data on the account
- the last action, to delete the account
